Residency rotator
Residents from other training programs looking to rotate within Tufts Medicine are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by clinical departments.
All rotators must meet the following qualifications:
- Are graduates of an accredited medical or dental school and are interns/residents/fellows in good standing in a GME program within an ACGME, AOA or Dental-accredited institution.
- Hold a valid Massachusetts license or they must apply for and be approved for a valid full, limited or dental Massachusetts license prior to the start of rotation.
- Fulfill all Tufts Medicine rotation documentation requirements.
Visiting medical student electives
Tufts Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM). TUSM participates as a host institution in the VSLO program through AAMC. Students in good standing at an LCME or AOA-accredited medical school who are interested in scheduling a visiting rotation at Tufts Medical Center should apply by selecting TUSM through the VSLO website.

Requests for verification of training must be accompanied by a signed authorization for release from the former trainee. The signed release form may be submitted by email, fax or mailed to the address above.
