The Tufts Medical Center Neurology Residency Program trains future neurologists to deliver exceptional care, lead innovative research and teach the next generation of clinicians. Based in Boston, this four-year program blends academic excellence with hands-on experience in both community and tertiary care settings.

Our mission is to train clinical neurologists who thrive in any career path—whether it’s patient care, research or teaching. We offer a welcoming, respectful learning environment where residents gain confidence, independence and expertise through a mix of bedside teaching, formal lectures and real-world experience.

Our residency program offers extensive hands-on experience in a variety of settings, from busy outpatient clinics to advanced neurocritical care units. By rotating through three leading hospitals, Tufts Medical Center, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, you’ll gain broad exposure to diverse patient populations and a full spectrum of neurological diseases.

We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, close-knit learning community where residents are empowered to take increasing responsibility for patient care.
