Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program

Train to become a confident radiologist at Tufts Medical Center

The four-year ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Tufts Medical Center offers strong clinical training in a supportive, high-volume academic setting. As part of a Level 1 trauma center in downtown Boston, we give residents early, hands-on experience across all imaging subspecialties. With personalized mentorship and a high faculty-to-resident ratio, our graduates are well prepared for fellowship, academic practice or private practice.

From day one, you’ll gain exposure to advanced imaging and procedures at Tufts Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital. Our program also offers elective time, global health experiences and the Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR) pathway.

  • ESIR option for up to three residents per class
