The one-year ACGME-accredited Dermatopathology Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston offers an immersive high-volume training experience designed to prepare fellows for advanced careers in dermatopathology. The program blends clinical exposure, diagnostic expertise and professional development to give trainees a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Fellows train across the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology at Tufts Medical Center and complete a comprehensive sign-out experience at Inform Diagnostics (InformDx). Training includes rotations in adult and pediatric care, surgical clinics and Mohs micrographic procedures. Fellows also gain hands-on experience with:
- A wide range of inflammatory, infectious and neoplastic skin diseases, providing extensive case diversity
- Collaboration with dermatology, pathology and subspecialty experts to foster multidisciplinary learning
- Immunofluorescence, immunoperoxidase techniques and digital pathology tools for advanced diagnostic skills
- Laboratory management education including histopathology operations, safety, compliance, certification, budgeting and quality control
