Comprehensive dermatopathology training at Tufts Medical Center
The one-year ACGME-accredited Dermatopathology Fellowship Program at Tufts Medical Center in Boston offers an immersive, hands-on training experience for one qualified candidate each year. The program is designed for physicians with prior training in dermatology or pathology (AP or AP/CP) and builds well-rounded expertise in dermatopathology.
Fellows with a pathology background gain practical experience in Tufts Medical Center’s Department of Dermatology, learning to integrate clinical insights with microscopic findings. Those with a dermatology background deepen their understanding of anatomic pathology, gaining a broader perspective on disease processes.
Both training tracks come together with a comprehensive dermatopathology sign-out experience at Inform Diagnostics (InformDx). This combination of clinical exposure, mentorship and advanced training prepares fellows for independent practice and advanced careers in both academic and clinical dermatopathology.
