Physical Medicine + Rehabilitation Residency - Conferences + Educational Presentations

Conferences + Educational Presentations

Elevate your learning with conferences + research in the Tufts Medical Center PM+R Residency Program

Our residency program values the integration of clinical practice with ongoing academic learning and research. To complement hands-on training, we provide a wide range of structured educational activities designed to deepen knowledge and foster critical thinking.

Residents participate in weekly didactic conferences that include:

  • Journal Clubs reviewing current literature
  • Grand Rounds featuring expert presentations on cutting-edge topics
  • Specialty lectures addressing core and emerging areas in rehabilitation medicine

Clinical cases often serve as springboards for focused reading and research exploration, encouraging residents to develop evidence-based approaches to patient care.

The learning environment is collaborative and supportive. Residents regularly share ideas, challenge one another and build a strong community committed to professional growth throughout the demanding residency journey.

Additionally, research opportunities are available for residents interested in advancing the field through scholarly projects, quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials under the mentorship of our experienced faculty.
