Experience diverse clinical training across top Boston hospitals + community health centers
Our residency program provides comprehensive clinical training across a range of hospital settings and outpatient centers. This diverse network of affiliated sites allows residents to gain exposure to a wide variety of patient populations, medical conditions and care environments. From a major academic medical center in downtown Boston to regional community hospitals and specialized outpatient clinics, each location offers unique learning experiences and opportunities to develop clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology. This breadth of training ensures residents are well-prepared to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across the full spectrum of women’s health.
Tufts Medical Center
Tufts Medical Center is our primary teaching hospital located in downtown Boston. This private, nonprofit hospital has over 450 beds and offers full-service care across all OB-GYN specialties, including maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and more.
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center
Lahey is a major teaching hospital with a 317-bed facility and extensive outpatient services. Residents gain experience in advanced gynecologic care, combining community-based and specialty care in northeastern Massachusetts.
Southern New Hampshire Medical Center
This 188-bed regional hospital serves a large patient population with 1,300 deliveries and nearly 600 gynecologic surgeries annually. Residents rotate here during their PGY-2 and PGY-3 years, with housing provided.
Lowell General Hospital
Lowell General includes inpatient campuses and specialty centers serving the Greater Lowell area. The hospital provides exposure to a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care.
Continuity clinic locations
In addition to our main hospitals, residents provide ambulatory care at several community health centers, including:
- Cambridge Hospital: A community hospital with a robust OB-GYN department and midwifery services.
- Neponset Health Center: A comprehensive outpatient center serving Dorchester with a full spectrum of medical and specialty services.
