Comprehensive dermatology training with hands-on clinical experience + diverse patient care
Our dermatology residency offers immersive, hands-on training across medical, surgical, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology. Residents manage a wide range of skin conditions in diverse patient populations, developing the skills to treat both common and complex cases with confidence.
Training includes exposure to the latest dermatologic technologies and treatments, including laser therapy, phototherapy and advanced surgical techniques. Residents rotate through high-volume outpatient clinics and inpatient consults to gain experience across the full spectrum of care.
As residents advance, they take on progressive clinical responsibility, building decision-making skills and procedural confidence. They also work closely with specialists in rheumatology, oncology and pediatrics, learning to manage skin conditions as part of broader systemic disease.
The curriculum includes weekly didactics, case conferences, dermatopathology sessions and board review to support structured learning. Residents also receive dedicated time for research, with opportunities to present at national conferences and connect with leaders in dermatology.
We balance clinical training with academic support and wellness initiatives to foster professional growth and personal well-being throughout the residency.
