Why Tufts Medicine?

I chose Tufts Medicine because of the strong emphasis on critical care training I noticed on my interview trail. The ICUs at Tufts MC are run by intensivists from different training pathways, which offers unique insights and knowledge to us trainees. I was also interested in the curriculum designed for PGY-1 year, which includes rotations in a variety of both surgical and medical services. I have been able to work closely with colleagues from all specialties, through working the long days and nights, forming strong bonds with one another. Additionally, Boston holds a special place in my heart as the first city in the U.S. that made me feel truly at home. The vibrant medical community and diverse patient population make Tufts an ideal place to continue my training. I am grateful to be part of a program that combines excellent clinical education with supportive, inspiring colleagues.
