Why Tufts Medicine?

The culture, the people and their dedication to the program. The program leadership and residents have cultivated such strong bonds with each other, and this shined through in every interaction I had with the program throughout the interview process. The combination of a high acuity caseload and patients with complex comorbidities, coupled with the program's post-resident placement history, made it an easy choice. Boston was the cherry on top!

Why Tufts Medicine?

Tufts MC has a very warm learning environment filled with people who are always willing to teach and support each other. At the same time, the patients at Tufts MC are clinically complex and provide very good learning exposure. The diverse patient population was also a big draw for me. I love how close the residents are to each other because of the small class size and Boston is an amazing city to live in!

Why Tufts Medicine?

I was initially interested in Boston because of the rich history of the city and the beautiful scenery of the Northeast. I was further drawn to Tufts MC because of this department's reputation for strong didactics, supportive leadership and a complex patient population. I was also looking for a smaller to mid-sized program, so I would be able to get to know and learn from my attendings and co-residents in a more personal setting

Hobbies

I love performing music whether it be playing the drums/percussion in a live ensemble or tracking in a studio for a recorded project. I also enjoy producing records and ensuring they're ready for release. Getting people to dance and enjoy themselves is a feeling like few others I've come to experience.

Why Tufts Medicine?

Having had the opportunity to attend medical school at Tufts MC and participate in the anesthesia rotation as a student, I saw first-hand the level of collegiality and family that persists in this department. The people, in tandem with the opportunity to partake in superb training that would expose me to a breadth of complex patients and situations, made staying at Tufts MC a very easy decision to make.

Why Tufts Medicine?

The program's leadership, faculty, and residents work hard to create a family-like environment in which you feel supported to pursue your passions within and outside of anesthesiology. High acuity care, a close-knit group of residents, and amazing fellowship opportunities are just a few reasons that made Tufts MC my top choice program!
