Leading the way in cancer care

At Tufts Medical Center Cancer Center, patients diagnosed with cancer can access a broad spectrum of specialized services. Our team comprises esteemed medical professionals, including hematologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, nurses, social workers, researchers and other dedicated partners. Together, we work collaboratively to devise a comprehensive treatment strategy tailored to each patient's individual needs. Our approach involves close communication and coordination with the patient and the referring physician to ensure personalized care.

We emphasize exceptional humanistic care and have a history of innovative approaches to the most complex issues. Our Bone Marrow and Hematopoietic Cell Transplant Program was the first program in Boston to be nationally certified as a transplant and donor collection center. Additionally, the Reid R. Sacco Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program at Tufts Medical Center is the first program in Boston to deliver personalized, multidisciplinary care tailored to the patient's age and disease with emphasis on survivorship-based care including management of complications or late effects, such as fertility issues, bone issues or heart problems related to cancer treatments. This innovative thinking continues today on every project and with every patient interaction.
