Study Requirements
During the operation, a small biopsy will be obtained from the inner lining of the abdominal wall. In addition, any tumor tissue that was excised according to standard treatment will be assessed to obtain small samples from tissue that otherwise would not be used for clinical care. The sample from the inner lining of the abdominal wall and samples from tumors will be send to Tufts University for research analysis.
