You’ll meet our multi-disciplinary team, get your questions answered, learn how to ensure the best possible outcome in your recovery and achieve a more active lifestyle.Why attend?Over 90% of patients who attended the Joint Camp between 2020 and 2022 were able to go home straight from the hospital without needing rehab. Each year, Lowell General Hospital has a strong history of supporting the Lowell Sun Santa Fund, which provides meals and toys for families in need during the holiday season. This fund, started by The Sun in 1988, distributes the money to families in need in our community though gifts and food vouchers with the help of The Salvation Army and Community Teamwork, Inc.

Lowell, Mass.  – Ever since they became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, 79-year-old Mary-Ellen Stewart has tried in vain to book appointments for her and her 80-year-old husband, John Stewart Sr. Yet even if there was availability near the Billerica home they have shared for 55 years of their six-decade long marriage, she worried about the physical and emotional stress of helping transport her electric wheelchair-bound spouse.
