The Center for Advanced Healthcare Research Informatics, led by Dr. Andrew Williams, produces new modes and methods of using healthcare-generated data and other related data to support research.

The Center for Clinical Evidence Synthesis (CCES), directed by Nanguneri Nirmala, PhD, promotes both the application of evidence based methods to healthcare topics and the development of methodologies in evidence synthesis.

The mission of the Center for Clinical Trials is to collaborate with clinical research investigators in the design, grant application, protocol development, execution, analysis and publication of prospective clinical trials. The center uses a collaborative structure that will improve efficiency and introduce innovation in all aspects of clinical trial design and conduct.

Training in clinical, basic or translational Infectious Diseases research is a major focus of the Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

Our mentorship program has been cited as exemplary by the Infectious Diseases Society of America. We believe that attentive, individualized mentorship is most helpful in supporting our fellows in reaching their desired goals.
