Center for Community-Engaged Medicine

About

The Center for Community-Engaged Medicine (CCEM) is directed by Dr. Robert Sege and promotes the development of deep and meaningful linkages between healthcare systems and providers and the patients and communities we serve. The center bridges translational and implementation science with the myriad efforts to address racism, inequity and health-related social needs.

CCEM faculty actively participate in education, research and policy change within the institute, the university and across the country. CCEM activities focus on broad collaboration within the healthcare sector, with national membership organizations, state and federal agencies. CCEM programs include Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) and Developmental Understanding and Legal Support for Everyone (DULSE).

CCEM also supports the Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s stakeholder and community engagement core.
