Overview

REACH is a program to energize and empower people living with lupus through movement. The REACH Lupus study is a randomized controlled pilot study to evaluate the REACH program.

Study details

Inclusion Criteria
  • 1) Diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus
  • 2) 18 years of age or older
  • 3) English-speaking
Exclusion Criteria
  • 1) Inability to consent or comply with study protoco
Study Requirements

Participants will receive access to the REACH mobile health application (app). The app includes educational information about fatigue and lupus and tools for tracking energy and movement. Some participants will also be paired with a peer coach for weekly virtual meetings. Individuals will participate in the program for 12 weeks and complete 4 study assessments (the last, 12 weeks after completion of the program). There are no in-person visits, blood draws, or imaging studies in this study.
