Study Requirements
The Topcon prototype OCT instrument has higher imaging speed and increased functionality compared to other commercial OCT/OCTA instruments. This enables us to investigate novel reliable biomarkers of retinal disease, investigate novel blood flow-associated biomarkers of retinal diseases, such as in age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Each examination takes about 10 minutes and there is no known risk. This cross-sectional study need one visit for each participant and examinations will be added after consultation. No laboratory test, Xray, CT scan, MRI and any other examination is done in the study.
