How to apply for an anesthesiology residency at Tufts Medical Center

If you’re considering applying to the anesthesiology residency at Tufts Medical Center, this page will guide you through the application process, required materials, and interview details. We’re committed to making the process clear and straightforward, so you can focus on showing us your passion and qualifications. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about applying, including special requirements for international applicants and what to expect during interviews. If you have any questions, our program coordinator is here to help.

Application process

All applicants must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications are reviewed from September through October each year. Virtual interviews take place from late October through mid-January.

Residency positions are offered through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), following the official Main Residency Match timeline.
