CardioVascular Center

For decades, patients and referring physicians have turned to Tufts Medical Center for cardiovascular care when the situation is serious and the need for collaboration and coordination are paramount. The Tufts MC CardioVascular Center spans across Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Medicine and Surgery, where physicians and teams work hand-in-hand to provide frictionless care, leading-edge advancements and exceptional training opportunities.

Heart of the matter

At Tufts Medical Center’s CardioVascular Center, we focus on excellence and collaboration, always keeping the patient at the center of all we do. Individuals from around the country seek out our teams to provide expert services. We are the region’s largest heart failure and cardiac transplant program, giving new life to more transplant patients than any other New England program in the last 10 years. We are experts in specialized procedures to address complex valvular and structural heart disorders, cardiac arrhythmias and atherosclerotic disease throughout the heart and body.

We work collaboratively with physicians and clinicians throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Northern New England, so that we can provide our specialty expertise and still have much of a patient’s care delivered locally.

Our training programs in all aspects of cardiac and vascular care are developing the next generation of expert clinicians and investigators.
