Give to Lowell General Hospital

Your support can change everything

Big or small, every gift to Lowell General makes a difference. It funds medical breakthroughs that advance bedside care. It provides critical, complex care for the people who need it most. And as we put our heads and hearts together to change healthcare for the better, your gift helps make each of these goals a reality.

This has been the Lowell General way since we were founded in 1891. And it’s the generosity of people like you that helps us pave the way for brighter tomorrows. The need for healthcare provided by people who know you by name, not by number has never been greater, and the process of giving has never been easier. Help us deliver healthier futures by making your gift to Lowell General a recurring one.

Contributions to Lowell General Hospital, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. All donations to Lowell General Hospital will stay within Lowell General Hospital unless declared otherwise.

At Lowell General Hospital, memorial gifts are a special way for family and friends to express their sympathy while supporting programs and people that were there when their loved ones needed them. Similarly, tribute-giving helps our donors to celebrate people and events by paying that gratitude forward and caring for others. We’re grateful for this type of support and to know we’ve touched so many lives.

Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities

Lowell General has 3 volunteer tracks focused on long-term opportunities in healthcare. This approach allows volunteers to build relationships with staff, learn about different careers in healthcare and finish the program with an enriching experience that lasts a lifetime. We don’t offer summer or shadow programs.

We’re so proud of the giving spirit within our community. At the same time, we may not be able to secure a volunteer opportunity with every person who applies. Rest assured, applications remain active for 3 months, so we’ll contact you if we find a match for you within that time and you are welcome to reapply if you don't hear from us after those 3 months are up.

If you’re among the candidates who best meet our requirements, we’ll coordinate an interview with you via email or phone.

Above all, volunteers must comply with our medical clearance and criminal background check and attend an orientation.
