This group will address topics related to the unique experiences of women dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Join us! This in-person group will be held from 2p-3p on the 4th Wednesday of each month in the lower-level conference room of 41 Montvale Ave, Stoneham. The group is led by our Tufts Medicine social work clinicians, Kathi Whittier, MSW, LICSW and Sue Appleyard, MSW, LICSW.

Various topics will be discussed including: 
  • Social support
  • Stress management
  • Health advocacy and advance directives
  • Nutrition and fitness
  • Body image and intimacy
  • Managing side effects of treatment
