Looking for a way to give back while enjoying the company of others? Join the Social Knitting Group, a weekly in-person gathering where volunteers come together to knit handmade items for Tufts Medicine Care at Home hospice patients.

This group offers more than just a shared craft—it’s a chance to connect with others, support our community​ and make a meaningful difference through every stitch.

How you can help

  • Meeting Wednesdays at Plaistow Public Library.  
  • Bring your knitting needles and a smile – all skill levels welcome.
  • Yarn donations are appreciated and help us continue this meaningful work.
  • Completed items will be donated to hospice patients, offering warmth, comfort​ and a reminder that someone cares.
