For fellows enrolled in the two-year Clinical Track, the focused study block is 3-6 months designated for self-directed learning in an area of professional interest. Fellows work independently with a domain mentor to develop clinical experiences, research or quality improvement projects, and intensive learning plans to achieve mastery. Fellows complete a capstone project in their area of focused study before graduation.
