The Patient Pathology Consult Program invites you to meet with a pathologist (a doctor who studies diseases by looking at tissues, cells and body fluids to help understand health problems). If you've had a biopsy or lab test and want to know more about what the results mean, this program is here to help.
In a private room, you’ll sit with a pathologist who will explain your test results. There’s a microscope, camera, and a large TV so you can see what the pathologist sees and ask questions. Your doctor or family can also join, either in person or by video.
This program is open to anyone who wants to learn more about their health and make educated choices about their care. Most insurance plans pay for the visit, but if not, it costs $80.
