Over the past eight months as interim President, Wyman has provided stability and fostered teamwork at MelroseWakefield Hospital; he has furthered critical initiatives in quality, finance, workforce development and staff engagement.
"Bill has distinguished himself with more than 30 years of progressive leadership at Tufts Medicine and its community hospitals," said Phil Okala, Chief Operating Officer of Tufts Medicine. "In each and every management role, Bill has demonstrated a strong commitment to employees and local communities and has successfully advanced enterprise-wide initiatives."
Prior to assuming the Interim President position, Wyman was Senior Vice President for Operations at MelroseWakefield Hospital for more than three years, overseeing all aspects of operations, improving Emergency Department throughput and helping the hospital earn Level III trauma designation. He also has held positions as Tufts Medicine's Senior Vice President (SVP) for Finance, Community Hospitals; SVP for Finance and Treasurer at Circle Health; and Vice President for Revenue Services and Corporate Compliance at Circle Health.

Wyman holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Merrimack College, a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
