The team at Circle Health Urgent Care is dedicated to serving as a community resource for both patients and our business community. The team provides skilled compassionate care through our four outpatient locations in Billerica, Dracut, Westford and Tewksbury. Since early February, our Urgent Care team has been actively managing the pandemic by expediting operational changes and protocols to support the varied needs of patients needing Urgent Care, as well as municipal workers and first responders such as police and fire departments through our Occupational Medicine Services.

“As Massachusetts began its reopening strategy, our Occupational Medicine team fielded countless calls from our local business clients around workplace safety, screening and the new state mandates,” says Dr. Mary Lynn Joe, Medical Director for Circle Health Urgent Care. “Our local municipalities and businesses rely heavily on our services to keep their workforces safe and in compliance, so offering specialty COVID-19 services to support area employers is the right thing for us to do as a community partner.”

These new business services, including some on-site training packages, include:

  • COVID-19 Testing including a new drive-up site opening July 13 at our Tewksbury location
  • Return to Work Clearance
  • Consultative services on CDC return to work standards with a Circle Health Physician
  • Employee Daily Screening Options
  • N95 Mask Fit Testing
  • Clinical Care of Employees
  • Employee Health and Wellness Education

Mary Lynn Joe, MD, together with Tracie McPadden, MSN, RN, CEN, CPEN, Director of Emergency Services and Urgent Care and Kelly Zapata, MA, Manager of Circle Health Occupational Medicine recently held a webinar with the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce titled “Workplace Safety with Circle Health COVID-19 Experts”. The team talked about administrative and environmental controls, tips on how to keep your employees safe, importance of providing health and wellness, a demonstration of proper mask fitting and strategies to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission to customers and staff. A helpful list of resources was also emailed to all the attendees.
