Prepare for your birth journey with confidence

Becoming a parent is an exciting and life-changing time—and we’re here to help you feel ready. Our in-person childbirth education classes are led by caring nurses from our Labor and Delivery and Mother Infant Units. They’ll share helpful information, hands-on skills and the peace of mind that comes from learning from the care team you can trust.

Classes are held monthly on the second Saturday of each month, with some changes for holidays.

What you’ll learn

This full-day class will help you feel prepared for labor, delivery and caring for your newborn. We’ll cover:

The different stages of labor and delivery
Ways to manage pain and stay comfortable
What to expect when you arrive at the hospital
Newborn care for your first days at home
Answers to your questions from our nursing team

You’ll also get a guided tour of our Birthplace, so you can see where you’ll meet your baby and learn what to expect on your special day.
